All praise is due to Allah. I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, He is One and has no partner. I equally testify that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. May peace and blessings be upon him, his household and companions.
“O You who believe. Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him and speak (Always) the truth.”(Al-Ahzaab 33: 70)
Brothers in faith! Muslims live, under the shade of this great religion, a life full of honour and grace. They find that by virtue of this religion they taste the sweetness of faith, attain true peace of mind and gratification in their worship.
The teachings of this religion adopt a firm stance against any form of evil teachings and whimsical desires of corrupt people in order to protect mankind from his own caprice and lust and to put an end to his anxieties and sorrows. Who is richer than he who adheres to the religion of Allah, though he is economically underprivileged, and who is poorer than he who opposes the religion of Allah though he is financially prosperous!
Fellow Muslims! One thing that saddens the zealous Muslim is to see his brothers in faith seeking happiness through means other than Islam, thereby treating their disease with poison instead of medicine and deluding themselves into believing that satiating their lustful desires will cure them of their ailments. An example of this is the obsession of many people today with listening to music and musical instruments; they justify this unenviable habit of theirs with baseless arguments and excuses. This evil deed is only promoted by those who are already afflicted with the blind following of their lustful desires and listening to shameless female singers. Our prophet Muhammad told us about these people when he said,
“There will be some people among my nation who will regard fornication, wearing of silk (for men), drinking of intoxicants and stringed instruments as lawful.” (Al-Bukhaaree and others)

Men are thieves on guard

My dear daughters in Islam,
Assalamu alaikum,
I wanted to write this article because it is important that you know the nature of men to both protect yourself and gain your husband’s love.
Allah knows best the nature of men and women and thus, He (swt) has instilled some rules to follow. Islam is a wonderful religion because it gives its right to every creature on Earth and of course to all men, women and children.
The children are the weakest of the three and Allah – with His infinite Mercy, has given them rights (and duties) but this is not the scope of this article.
Women are also weaker than men and this is not to mean that women are less important or less intelligent or less capable, it just means there are certain things that women are not as strong as men and one of such things is dealing with emotions or some aspects of our physical abilities. Thus, women are a trust in men’s hands. Yet, Allah (swt) knows the nature of men and that there is a sexual weakness in the hearts of many of them that Allah (swt) has taught us how to protect ourselves from them!

The Scourge of Thousands

Sheikh Saalih al Humaid
April 4, 2008 ~ Rabee al Awwal 28, 1429
All praise is due to Allah and He deserves all Praise. All that is good is in Allah’s hands and He has the power over all things. I praise Allah and thank Him for His abundant blessings and favors. I bear witness that there is no God except Allah, the only One God, who has no partner in worship. Glory be to Allah, the unique God who has no equal. I bear witness that Muhammad (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) is Allah’s servant and messenger. He brought us all that is good and warned us against all that is evil. Oh Allah, send your peace and blessings upon Muhammad, his family and companions, and whomever follows them in righteousness.
Oh people, I advise myself and you to fear Allah. Fear Him so that He may have mercy upon you. Hasten to do good deeds and turn unto Allah in repentance before deaths comes upon you, as no one knows the time death will come. How can a person expect to attain Jannah if he is negligent of these teachings. How can it be that one turns sincerely to Allah in repentance while he does not care about his fate in the hereafter? Indeed happiness and success are with the person who keeps in mind that Allah is Ever Watching over him.
Fellow Muslims, stand before Allah in submissiveness, pray to Him in humility, and weep tears of regret in fear. Allah says: “On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil. And Allâh warns you against Himself (His Punishment) and Allâh is full of Kindness to the (His) slaves.” [Surah Ale 'Imraan: Ayah 30]

Don't Forget to Purify Your Wealth!

Wealth is a Trial...
From the weaknesses of human beings pointed out by Allah in the Qur'aan, is the love for wealth. He said: “And you love wealth with excessive love.” [Soorah al-Fajr (89): 20] And: “Verily he (man) is violent in the love of wealth.” [Soorah al-Aadiyat (100): 8] He also warned, saying: “Your wealth and your children may be but a trial.” [Soorah Taghabun (64): 15]
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “Every Ummah (nation) has a test to undergo, my Ummah (nation) will be tried through wealth.” [at-Tirmidhee no: 481]
The Qur’aan narrates a parable of a virtuous man, whom Allah had granted abundance in wealth. He owned a valuable garden; after deducing the household and agricultural expenses from his income, he would spend the remaining money in charity. When he died, his sons considered their father to be a simpleton for giving away such large amount of money in charity and thus decided to hold back the entire profit. When the garden was ready to be harvested, they planned to secretly carry all the produce to their homes without anybody knowing. The next day, as they approached the garden, they were astonished to see the fresh and blooming garden completely laid waste and it was only their garden which was in ruins!! “They said: 'Alas for us! We have indeed transgressed!” [Soorah al-Qalam (68): 31] and Allah declares: “Such is the punishment (in this life); but greater is the punishment in the Hereafter!” [Soorah al-Qalam (68): 33]
